At Nauti Pics 360, giving back is deeply personal. My journey to the Keys was born from a place of trauma and betrayal. As a former emergency room nurse, I dedicated my life to helping others, but when I needed support the most, I was met with judgment, disbelief, and indifference. Betrayed by my own family and dismissed by people who thought they knew my story, I endured some of the darkest times imaginable.

When I moved to Key West, I came here seeking a fresh start, healing, and a community that valued people for who they truly are. But even here, I was met with the same prejudice from people who didn’t take the time to understand me. Some nonprofits, the very organizations meant to help, turned me away based on assumptions rather than truth.

Through that pain, I found my purpose. I’m committed to being the person who shows up—without judgment—to make a difference. At Nauti Pics 360, giving back isn’t just part of what we do; it’s who we are. Partnering with nonprofits that embody compassion and understanding has become my way of creating the community I wished for when I first arrived here.
